Half-plant pots to be added to sale in Arizona

Half-plants, a type of pot that is used to cook or freeze vegetables, will be available in the Phoenix market starting in September.

A company called HalfplantPot will be selling the pot and accessories in a limited number of locations beginning in August, with more locations to be announced in coming months.

The company says half-plains will have a shelf life of 30 days.

The pot is made of a blend of two types of plants that grow together and are called a rootstock.

Half-pots come in various sizes, but are generally smaller than a standard pot, which can hold about 100 pounds of frozen vegetables.
